In the sort-term, the UCC tragedy filled everybody with a confused hatred of why this happened and who do we blame.

The people are kind and caring, and they really put community first. When our selfless community was brought down with tragedy, everyone was devastated.

Roseburg High School was hit very hard by this tragedy. The students, teachers, and staff all showed their support in unimaginable ways.

I don’t know how to put into words. I guess I still feel mostly confused and worried.

I stormed out in a flurry of tears. Calling as many friends that I could; friends at UCC or friends of friends.

I first found out about the incident when I text a couple of my college friends. It was then that the whole idea became a real thing.

People wanted to feel as if they were involved and had something to add to the situation.

The shooting happened right before the first marching band competition of the season.

Sept. 30 I was there on campus. There was a volleyball game for Roseburg High and I was playing.

Everyone was really sad when we heard of the news in our government class.
